Con tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Elisa Camacho el 30 de diciembre de 2024. Murió en el Hospital de Mercy General, en Sacramento, rodeadae por su familia a la edad de 82 años. Nació en Cali, Colombia el 21 de febrero de 1942. A la edad de 19 años, emigró a Chicago y luego la familia se mudó a Foster City, California, pero durante los últimos 23 años amo la ciudad de Sacramento. Fue madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga para muchos.Elisa amo la vida y disfrutaba estar con su familia. Lo más querido en su corazón era su fe y amor en el Señor. También era una persona muy social que disfrutaba del tiempo y los eventos con amigos y conocidos. Sus cosas favoritas eran la moda, el arte y sus viajes. Le encantaba la experiencia de explorar nuevos lugares y culturas porque el mundo es una aventura emocionante. Se aventuró a América del Sur, América Central, Europa, Asia y América del Norte, visitando a familiares, amigos y haciendo nuevos amigos en el camino. Nunca temió viajar sola, mantuvo su fe y confianza en Dios para que la ayudara a guiarla a lo largo de los viajes y la vida.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Ernesto (esposa Karen) y Jorge (esposa Cynthia), cinco nietos y un bisnieto. Tocó muchas vidas y todos la echaremos de menos. Recordaremos su sonrisa brillante, su risa alegre y sus deseos de que todos esten felices.
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Elisa Camacho on December 30, 2024. She died at Mercy General Hospital surrounded by her family at the age of 82. She was born in Cali, Colombia on February 21, 1942. At the age of 19, she emigrated to Chicago and then the family moved to Foster City, California, but for the last 23 years she called Sacramento her home and loved it. She was a mother, a grandmother, great-grandmother, a sister, and a friend to many.
Elisa had a love for life and enjoyed being with her family. Most dear to her heart was her faith and love in the Lord. She was also a social butterfly who relished time and events with friends and acquaintances. Her favorite things were fashion, art, and travel. She loved the experience of exploring new places and cultures because the world was always an exciting adventure. She ventured to South America, Central America, Europe, Asia, and throughout North America, visiting family, friends, and making new friends along the way. She never feared traveling solo, she held her faith and trust in God to help guide her throughout travels and life.
She is survived by her sons Ernie (wife Karen) and Jorge (wife Cynthia), five grand children and one great-grandchild. She touched many lives and will be missed by all. She will be remembered for her bright smile, joyful laughter, and her wishes for all to be happy.
